The latest adventure:
A few weeks ago Morgans school sent home 5 of those $20 coupon books for the kids to sell. We bought 1 and sent the rest back to school to be turned back in, along with the money for the one we got. This morning I found Morgan with a guilty look on his face, in his room. When I asked what he was doing he, of course, said just sitting here bouncing my ball. I quickly looked where he had been 'sitting' and found the cards from 2 of the coupon books, along with a handful of other stuff. Of course I knew there was a problem as soon as I saw the discount cards. He had taken the cards out of the books, and put the books through my shredder! Then he had given his older brother the $20 because he wanted to buy something. That was $80 worth of books! If you are ever on the PTA and in charge of something like this, PLEASE do not send the kids home with anything of value! Someone, like my son, will come along and destroy or loose it. Parents do not need to have that kind of stress added to their lives, at least, I don't. So don't send Morgan home with anything of value!
Please post pictures with your stories... and hang in there!
